On arrival he explained well about best places to visit on the island, gave guide and island map and suggested which best places to visit. You need to have a car to get around as it will be the most convenient. Free parking next to the building. Super satisfied with the stay.

I recently stayed at a newly built hotel in Ponta Delgada for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The modern design and fresh ambiance were immediately noticeable. We used the convenient self-check-in option, which was quick and easy. Despite our early morning checkout, the hotel kindly prepared a special breakfast for us, showcasing their excellent service. The hotel featured a well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor and an inviting pool area, though we didn't have time to use the pool.

Olive Boutique Guesthouse ligger i Vila Franca do Campo, 5 minuters promenad från Praia do Corpo Santo och 500 m från Praia da Vinha da Areia, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi, luftkonditionering,... God frukost med nystekta ägg, frukt, yoghurt och lokala ostar. Parkering på gatan fungerade bra med parkeringsautomat där man kunde betala med mynt. Byn ör väldigt trevlig med några riktigt bra restauranger. Känns som ett nyrenoverat hotell. Fräsch pool.

Solar de Santo André ligger i Ponta Delgada och erbjuder en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. Det här boendet erbjuder både familjerum och en grill. We had a phenomenal stay at Solar de St. André. We stayed for a week and were blown away by the standard of the accommodation and the fantastic hospitality. Eduarda and her team are brilliant and genuinely go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. We were always made to feel welcome and were even invited to a nearby concert, which was excellent. Marina deserves a special mention as she not only prepared fab breakfasts each morning, but gave us local advice, recommendations and just nice chit chat! Our room - the blue room - had everything we needed, super clean, well appointed and quiet. Comfortable bed. The hotel is like a museum, everything is charming and quaint but also modern and well-finished. Breakfast selection was always great, local produce and coffee always on hand . We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place.

Casa-do-Mar ligger i Madalena och erbjuder boende med trädgård, gemensam lounge och terrass samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Utöver ett gemensamt kök har detta boende även en lekplats. Great 4 night stay for 2 couples spending 3 weeks in the Azores. A little tricky to find using Google maps. Ample parking, once we found it!! Easy walk to town along the ocean. Large grocery store and tasty restaurants all within walking distance. We enjoyed use of the kitchen for a couple simple dinners.

I want to recommend this accommodation to everyone who comes to the azores! A great accomodation and an even grater host! He really cares for your wellbeing and for you to make your stay as enjoyable as possible! He provided us with every help and assistance, from tips where to go out for dinner to rainy-day-program, with bath towels for each day and even bathtowels to go to the hot springs (which are a must do in our opinion but thats another story) The room was very nice, clean and had everything we needed (thanks for the anti-moskito-plug! Made our nights very peaceful). In the shared area is even a fully equipped kitchen, there is coffe and even a garden to sit outside and enjoy breakfast. Locationwise you can get to the city center via a short walk, there is one excellent fish restaurant down the street and you have a parking opportunity suitable for mainland europeans ;) Everything you need is close by. Farol Guesthouse ligger i Angra do Heroísmo, 13 minuters promenad från Negrito strand, och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge, gratis privat parkering och en terrass. Catarina was nothing but helpful and kind. Great laundry service for only 4 euros. Clean and very comfortable room. Very good breakfast. The location was perfect for us since we had a car, nothing was far from the hotel. Self check in in the middle of the night no problem.

There was also a file prepared & left for us with recommendations about restaurants & cafes nearby.
