Excellent rooms with perfect sea view!! The family was very nice and helpful, we even got a little breakfast although it wasn't included. They organised a tricycle ride for us and offered to take us snorkeling to see the turtles which where next to the property. There is a staircase from the property to the sea, so you have access to Tubod Beach.

I like that it was very homey but the feeling of being away from home was there. Waking up in the morning and going directly to the beach for a very deserved and relaxing swim time with the peaceful atmosphere was one of my favorite moments. With my first as being able to spend precious time with friends.

Don’t forget to try the breakfast and the homemade jam! This place would be the main reason to come back

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location, the staff and the environment was perfect. Also the food and drinks are very nice and affordable. They do live music on the eveing wich suits perfect with the sunset timing. There's also a little beach in the hotel and it's perfect for a quick deep or just for lay there, relax and enjoy a good book. I would deffinetely recommend Swakihan Guest House if you are staying in Siquijor. We regret not extending our stay. Thank you so much for having us!! If we come back to the Philippines we will deffinetely stay here again! :)

Probably one of our favourite places in the Philippines, Tintin and the girls at the reception were very helpful and friendly, we felt like part of the family. The dorm in itself is simple but is definitely great value for money considering there is a kitchen.

The place is quiet and very well maintained. Located very close to the famous Tubod beach. The owners are adorable and available to make your stay easier. There is also the excellent restaurant located very close to the place of residence. I recommend.

The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and provided helpful recommendations for exploring Siquijor. Their personal touch made our stay feel more like visiting family than a typical hotel experience. Their home-cooked meals prepared were fresh, local, and delicious. Balay Kumbal is the perfect place for travelers looking for a peaceful, laid-back retreat in Siquijor. If you're after a slice of paradise where you can relax and enjoy nature, this is the spot for you.

It’s very affordable, clean and cozy..Very modern and feels like glamping in siquijor. The people are very accommodating highly suggested place to stay. It’s also near tourist spots too so totally worth the money. It has bidet too!!! 💕
