Virginie is very friendly and picked us up from the airport in our rental car she helped to organise, suggested some good restaurants and even provided a bowl of tasty homegrown fruit. The room was clean and spacious with a good shower. The geckos were cute but sometimes a little noisy at night.

Fare Ara Location Huahine is 5 minutes' walk from both Mati Beach and local restaurants. It is 20 minutes' walk from Fare City Centre and 8 minutes' drive from Huahine – Fare Airport. Airport transfers are available, on request. We loved our stay at Fare Ara! Our room was clean with nice air conditioning. Our hosts were incredible friendly throughout our 3 night stay. They picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, had a scooter for us to rent, and brought fresh bread and homemade jams every morning. Definitely received more than we expected for a budget accommodation. We really enjoyed the location, close to town but far enough away for it to be very calm. The island of Huahine is an underrated gem and totally worth a visit!

Some also have a well-equipped kitchen or kitchenette with an oven, stove and microwave. It's a fantastic tahitian style room, with a porch directly at seaside. Might not be for everyone (coral on the floor is uncomfortable), no warm shower, roof was a little leaky, but I absolutely loved it! Fresh flowers and plants in the bathroom. The hosts are friendly and helpful but they speak very little english.
