A very nice buffet breakfast provided daily in a pretty and open setting near the water. Evening meals were in the same restaurant with a good number of items to chose from. The staff was exceptionally attentive and provided the best service we could ask for. Thank you so much to Ruth and others. We stayed at this resort for a week after touring Peru and couldn’t have had a better place to unwind and relax. The best pisco sours of our whole trip were at Punta del Norte!

The beach was very nice the owner was very helpful she arranged a tour for me with a couple staying at the hotel to save a little money also gave me an upgraded room. A nice refrigerator in the room to keep drinks cold. Internet was good

Hostel Paqaryi is right on the sea, you can literally fall out of bed and go for a swim. The rooms and sheets are clean and there i you get towels, toilet paper and soap. Wilmer, Vicki and the kids are a wonderful family and very accommodating. They can prepare meals for you if you request them and I had Vicki’s ceviche, which was amazing. If you want to cook there is a kitchen with a two ring hob, fridge and cooking utensils, as well as a coffee machine. Note that the tap water is not drinkable (which is the case all over Peru), so make sure that you bring or buy bottled water. You can also get a bottle from the hostel or there are plenty of shops in town. Even though I speak very little Spanish, we got by well with google translate, and I was able to understand and make myself understood. Arnold, the eldest can also teach surfing lessons in the morning, unfortunately as o was only there one night I couldn’t take him up on it as I had to leave the next day. There are hammocks which are set up right on the waterfront so a great way to laze around with a book. I had a great short stay and it was just what the doctor ordered before flying back to Lima.
