Guests can stay warm with a fireplace in every unit. A balcony with an outdoor dining area and mountain views is offered in each unit. At the guest house, each unit comes with a desk and a private bathroom. Joanna and her husband were the absolute loveliest and most helpful hosts. We stayed before the Choquequirao hike and Joanna gave us a thorough briefing and answered all the questions we had. We had spent ages doing research online but Joanna was all the preparation we needed. The views of the mountains are amazing. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast there. We relaxed in the hammocks after the hike. I can't recommend it enough!

This place was really amazing! Beautiful garden and wooden terrace with epic mountain view! But the best was the owner of the hostel, Elizabeth, she helped us with a lots of things and also she coocked for us delicious and healthy food from her faram. We absolutely loved it!
Good central location, spacious hotel complex, good size room, decent bathroom with excellent shower. Pool and plenty of secure parking. On-site restaurant was good quality. Quaint classic hotel building.
The hostal was awesome and the manager very friendly. We could put our stuff in the luggage case for 3 days while doing the trekking of Choquequirao 👍
We had a comfortable, spaceous, clean and mainly quiet flat with a good breakfast. Kitchen utensils could be borrowed at the reception, the staff also helped us to find an english speaking tour guide to explore the Ampay mountain and forest. Abancay itself is not really picturesque and full of noise, traffic and unpainted, concrete buildings. So: The Hotel and also the Ampay national park were really nice but the city itself could use some more green, calmness and care for their buildings.
