Amazing place for a layover and sad we didn’t have longer! Domenico was a lovely host who gave us so many tips for the area and made us feel very at home. The room itself was so nicely decorated and the bed was so comfy! In a great location too with lots of food places nearby. All staff were super friendly and helpful too and the shuttle was a great addition. Would definitely recommend :)

Manuel goes above and beyond to help. When we arrived we were having contacting a airline to arrange a ticket refund- he could not have been more helpful and with success. Whilst in Panama we were subject to petty crime and Manuel contacted the Police and came with us to the station to make a statement . We had a bigger room . It was quiet, very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. The WiFi worked well and the room had air-con. The kitchen was well equipt and we cooked a few meals. The staff will do your laundry on site for $6 a load. Excellent location- lots of shops ( food stores) and restaurants nearby. Via Argentina is a 10-15min walk. All in all we were so pleased that we chose Hostel IBRAIS - we came back for another stay! (Manuel stored our bags and had helped organise a San Blas tour)

It exceeded my expectations by far. It was definitely everything I wanted and more. Very clean, comfortable, convenient location, perfect area. It is like 8-10 mins from the Iglesia del Carmen metro station that can take you back to the airport and walking distance away from the central areas and interesting buildings, also la Cinta Costera. The room was very clean, the facilities in the room were as if brand-new. I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. Wifi worked excellent. I found the perfect accomodation to stay when I visit Panama City. Highly recommended.
