My room was in a 3 bedroom apartment. It had its own private bathroom. It’s exactly as described and is very quiet. AC and WiFi worked perfectly. The bed is comfortable. The bedroom door has a good lock. The room and the whole apartment are very clean. I could use the kitchen that has everything for storing and heating up food or cooking simple meals. I hardly ever saw my neighbours and often felt like I had the apartment to myself. The area is safe, everything is close by shops, restaurants, bus stop to/from the airport. Parking is easily available. The nearest beach Al Khuwair is 20-25 min walk away, there’s an underground crossing under the highway just at the end of the street. The owner is a great person, very professional and always responded very promptly to all my questions and requests. I really enjoyed my stay, felt safe and comfortable at all times.

Clean, comfortable bed. Great location in the city center. I would to mention the staff at breakfast, in particular Norie and Reyna (I hope I spelled their names right); professional, kind, never exaggerating with attention.
Very authentic gusethouse in the old part of town with a very kind and friendly host couple, accommodating in all matters - even helped out with cash for the taxi fare which couldn't be paid by card! Location rather close to the Corniche, Fort, harbour and Souq. Nice arabian style breakfast served in the adjacent coffe shop. Real good place for all those searching for the genuine, authentic part of Muscat, however, some 10-15 km away from the more modern and more versatile city center.
The location was perfect for me. Just a 15 minute walk from Qurum beach, or a 4 minute drive. It's in a quiet neighborhood and feels like home. The host is very attentive to any needs you may have. I'll go back again and again and perhaps stay longer.

Great location in the old city center near the Al alam palace, National museum and bus stop. The room was clean and the owners very friendly and helpful. The host showed us a good restaurant and advised us what to see.
Great Host with a lovely and charming breakfast every morning. The property was in a save and nice location. We stayed with the family in there flat. Our room with the toilet was next to the living room. We could look the door but we felt very save and the host were really nice and warm-hearted.
We spend one night before flight - hotel provided all we expected - clean, quiet, comfortable rooms, waking-up service, parking and just nearby there is a gas station and car wash where you can cheaply prepare car to return it at the airport. Great location - 15 min by car to the airport.
Ashmat was a great host and we had a good time at Fort Guesthouse. Everything was really clean, breakfast at the roof terrace is so nice and the location is perfect to visit Mutrah. We arrived in the middle of the night and checkin with a code was really easy.
