Our entire stay was very comfortable and the staff especially Farhan who tended to our every need and even went above and beyond to make it such a memorable experience! The property itself is managed very well and very clean. The design of the rooms and the inn overall is very authentic with a pool that is beautiful. The small village of Tiwi has been one of my favorites stops of this roadtrip in Oman, irresistible charm, adorable inhabitants, many local restaurants and in the immediate vicinity of Wadi Shab, which I was able to get to without taking the car but also close to Bimmah sinkhole and Wadi Tiwi or Wadi Mibam at about 20 to 30 mn by car.
The accommodation was clean, the room comfortable and well equipped.
Finally, special mention for the receptionist Sobash who is simply a sweetheart, always available, attentive and will do everything possible to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Thanks again Sobash!
I recommend and will definitely come back in the future.
Al Ḩadd
Located within 2.5 km of Al Hadd Beach and 400 metres of Al Hadd Fort, Salem Fish Guest House provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Al Ḩadd. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Sal was an excellent host. He has a warm and friendly personality and kindly offered a large bowl of fruits and Omani tea and coffee any time of the day. We enjoyed meeting his horse and what we came for, to see the sea turtles and babies. His Inn is comfortable and relaxed- a little slice of paradise.
Al Ghalīlah
Some units in the guest house have private entrance and are fitted with wardrobe and outdoor furniture. Some of the units feature a satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, and a private bathroom with a bidet and slippers. At the guest house, some units are soundproof. Location is great for exploring the area (Wadi Shab and Wadi Tiwi). We spent two quite nights in a very comfortable room with great seaview and private terrace. Common terrace has a great panoramic view over the sea, beach and mountain. The owners were really friendly and hospitable. You get unlimited water, coffee and dates for free.
Sur
Located within 1.4 km of Turtle Beach and 16 km of Al Hadd Fort in Sur, Turtle Guest House features accommodation with seating area. This guest house offers free private parking and full-day security. The guest house provides mountain views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Very close to the turtle reserve. Friendly staff. Good price.

So we were unsure whether to book this or not because of the reviews here, but took the risk! The property was absolute AMAZING, the location was perfect, but the staff were unbelievable! I mentioned it’s one of our friends birthdays and he went out to FILL the villa with balloons, decorations, birthday cake, candy, and lots of other fun things for when we arrived! We all arrived at awkward timings but he made sure to meet us super early to check in. He arranged a chef to cook us a bbq, constantly made sure we were well looked after, the villa is amazing, clean, comfortable, awesome cinema room, the pool and jacuzzi were amazing, and there’s a steam room! Huge villa but still very homely feeling, 100% recommend and we will definitely be back soon!

Great house and great host! We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The house itself was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of space for our group. The location was also perfect, close to all the attractions but still in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood.
Small camp with only 2 tents - made it very cozy and familiar Ali was a great host - very entertaining. Too bad he could not stay longer during our stay to share more about the life of the beduins Great that you could just walk up on a nearby sand dune do view sunset and sunrise
Proximity to the beach and town centre. The caretaker Ektheir is a star! He is friendly, knows everything about the town and surroundings and he is very helpful. It has a B&B vibe and Ektheir is a super great host! Loved the relaxed seating area outside the building.
It's a small desert camp that offers a genuine and authentic experience. Said is a great host, very informative and welcoming. He tells plenty of stories and is an avid traveler himself. We loved the food and campfire at night. The desert itself is breathtaking.
The villa is absolutely fantastic - spacious, clean and so elegant! Inside and outside cozy and boutique designed, with nice warm outdoor pool. Great location, so peaceful and quiet!
Salem was a great host. He's very open, kind and caring. He took us to see the bioluminescent plankton in the sea, and drove around with us to find lost baby turtles on the road. We booked a tour with him on his boat to see dolphins and turtles, and go snorkeling which was a very nice experience as well. Besides that, the guesthouse has everything you need. We could even make use of the washing machine. It's a great place with good vibes!
Nice guesthouse to stay as it is relatively close to Wadi Shab, Wadi Tiwi and Sur. It is simple, but you have everything you need, they have small cooking stove if you want to cook and a big supermarket is just 15 min driving. In the village there is one small Indian cafe where you can get good cheap sandwiches. The owner and the hostess Fatima were super friendly and they really tried to make our stay here nice by giving advice what to see and helping with any questions. I think this place is perfect for families.
Very charming guesthouse, perfectly located for a visit of Wadi Shab & Bimmah Sinkhole. the place is very new and well kept, our ocean-view room had huge windows, was spacious and immaculately clean, with a great warm shower and a small fridge. The place has a lovely outside sitting area and a little pool. Habib, the owner is such a friendly, gentle and helpful host, who goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and have a wonderful stay at his guesthouse. It is a very friendly and welcoming place you will simply love!
