The house is filled with love and warmth, it is very soulful and peaceful. The staff is wonderful and super friendly. It is incredibly beautiful both inside and outside. You really don't want to leave such places, and when you leave, you want to come back.

Friendly host, we had good conversations together, he was open to connecting. Simon was very laid back and hospitable and let us check in late and also stay late since no one was coming the next day. Friendly dog too =) The room and the whole place was super clean, couldn't be better. Amazing fjord views from the room and from the property.

This house was surprisingly nicer than I thought it would be. It was in a very quiet neighborhood and the view outside is spectacular! The host welcome us in person and introduced the facility. It has everything we need. A morning hike with rainbow made us the day.

Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri is located in the oldest buildings in the village of Aurland. Situated on the shores of Aurlandsfjord, it offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. This is absolutely adorable hotel, made in a traditional Norwegian style. Cozy houses, very cozy room, gorgeous breakfast, very friendly staff, nice gastropub and all this is located on a very coast of stunning fjord. Strongly recommended
