Sakrisøy Gjestegård - Manor House in Sakrisøy - Solbakken anno 1880 is housed in a former manor house dating back to 1880 and is located in the area of Moskenes. The house is elengantly and beautifully decorated, with lots of space, quiet, and the facilities were impecably clean. The feeling was awesome, very welcoming, with breakfast options and snacks in the main eating area, kindly offered. Not sure if this is available all year round, but it was appreciated in between seasons. Jack went above and beyond: He found ways to help me with commuting, gave the best advice to enjoy the views, and offered all help he could so that I had the best possible stay. A special shout-out to him!

Guest rooms have either shared or private bathroom facilities, and all bathrooms have underfloor heating. Certain rooms have a sea view. Everything. This place is a GEM. It’s a bit out there, but I like places that are a bit more removed. The view is spectacular, the room was clean and comfortable. Additionally, I arrived super late due to ferry schedules and was met by the owner who recognized I’d not eaten and made me dinner. We sat up and chatted for ages, she was so kind. It’s been just amazing and I can’t recommend this place enough.

The nearest airport is Andoya, Andenes Airport, 47 km from the guest house. The owners were super helpful and very friendly. The homebaked chocolate muffins were lovely (thank you!!). The room and facilities were spotless and exactly as in the photos. The beds were comfortable. Food store close by so we could make our own dinner. Free coffee in the morning was a bonus. Would absolutely stay here again.

The nearest airport is Leknes Airport, 16 km from the guest house. We received a very warm and friendly welcome from Angela. She showed us everything and explained everything. The location and the facilities in the room are really great. The only drawback is that the toilet is on the ground floor, so depending on the location of the room you have to climb a few stairs each time. This is particularly inconvenient for older people. Nevertheless, it gets full marks because everything else was perfect. p.s. Price-performance ratio was also top notch! Thank you very much!

Set in Bogen and only 44 km from Ofoten Museum, KAB Guesthouse offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property was built in 1957 and has air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. We stayed here overnight for a 6:40am flight from Evenes airport the next morning. The place was perfect for us and suited our needs. 15 minute drive to the airport, comfortable rooms with good block out blinds. The hosts were easy to deal with.
