Set in the typical quaint Terschelling surroundings, B&B De Wadvaarder offers cozy accommodation with flat-screen satellite TV and luxury bedding. The Midsland aan Zee beaches are only 2.5 km away. Upon arriving at Pension de Wadvaarder (through the back gate), you’ll enter into a cozy living room and dinning area. Gerrit & Annemieke have a great sense of style and it shows throughout the property, including the garden. The bedroom was spacious and had a small reading room with books (in Dutch). For breakfast you are provided a checklist of items to choose from which are then freshly assembled for you in the morning. The items are excellent quality, some derived from Terschelling (cheese, cranberry compote, eggs…) - lekker! The pension is close to the village center and bus stop. Hikes on the dike, in the forrest, on the dunes, and beach are easily manageable. Of course you can also bike if you want to move around faster and farther.

Situated just 2.7 km from wrakkenmuseum, De Witte Handt features accommodation in Midsland with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as private check-in and check-out. For me the experience here was excellent, and the house location was very beautiful and great, the rooms, are a very interesting place to spend some time and explore the island and the nearby town!
