Located 400 metres from Zandvoort Beach, The Rock offers accommodation with a patio. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The location was fantastic we were close to everything the beach, the central part of the town and a couple of minutes' walk from the train station. Roderick and Nancy were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much bother lovely people.

We had everything we needed and more. The location is convenient too, close to buss station to Amsterdam, 10 minutes walk by the river. The Purmered is beyond beautiful little town. We ordered a breakfast in room that was made for us every day with fresh goods. The hosts were very kind and didn't bothered us at all, and they recommend nice things to do in their town. I can't praise this place enough. Would recommend to anyone coming to visit Amsterdam.

The room was beautiful and had the cutest garden. Fatos, the host, is one of the nicest and most helpful people I have met. She had amazing recommendations for restaurants, bars, and cafes. I had mentioned we were visiting for our Anniversary and she had a little surprise for us, which I thought was a very sweet personal touch. In general, the place is in a great location and is within walking distance of several landmarks (Anne Frank house is <5 mins walk), bars and restaurants. Would definitely come back and stay here on my next visit as well!
