Set in Matagalpa, Matagalpa Tours Guest House offers accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. The homestay has family rooms. Nice large room. Two fans. Hot water. Kitchen to use and make coffee, with fridge. Location is brilliant, right in town centre but quiet. 10 minutes walk from the bus station. We took a tour with them which again was brilliant.. Luck enough to coincide with a cowboy day. Literally hundreds of cowboys parading through the streets and everyone oartying. Closed down at 10.00pm

Hostal Casa Vieja has a garden and barbecue facilities in Matagalpa. The property features mountain and garden views. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle... The location of Casa Calala was just the right walking distance to town and other amenities. Very easy to navigate and get around, and come back to a quiet location. The wifi was always working and sufficient for my needs. The indoor/outdoor kitchen made for a perfectly tropical feel!
