Where to even begin… our stay at Whale Shark Beach is one we will not forget. The staff were so accommodating and friendly for our entire stay. They always welcomed us back from our excursions or just afternoons out on the beach and always wanted to know what we had done that day. The food was immaculate and we ended up eating at the hotel every night so we could keep trying things off the menu. The rooftop dining area is especially lovely, it’s nice to be able to see the stars during the evening. The excursions team were absolutely incredible. We saw dolphins, turtles, various reefs and had an unforgettable experience swimming with manta rays. The team were also incredibly generous and allowed us to join two additional manta ray and whale shark trips for no additional cost after we had not seen them initially. The boat was well equipped and the team were incredibly focussed on guest safety in the water as well as enjoyment. Another key thing that we applaud the excursions team on is ensuring the safety and well being of the wild animals we saw whilst out on the sea. The boat engine was immediately turned off as soon as we saw dolphins and they kept a good distance away instead of chasing and harassing the animals. Additionally, prior to one of our whale shark tours we were briefed on how to swim with the animal safely and were reminded that if anyone tried to touch or swim to close to the animal they would be removed from the water. As someone who works in marine animal conservation, I applaud the team at Whale Shark Beach for putting the animals first and ensuring that both them and the guests could have a safe and enjoyable experience. The room was lovely. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’d ever slept in and very spacious. The television also had smart options available to watch Netflix or Amazon Prime which was a big bonus.

Set in Dhigurah in the Ari Atoll region and Dhigurah North West Beach reachable within 200 metres, Seaside Dhigurah offers accommodation with free WiFi, barbecue facilities, a private beach area and... Everything! I can’t speak enough good things about this place! The bed was so comfortable, the staff is so kind, and loved the outdoor shower. Everything you could need is within walking distance. Breakfast was great! Truly a gem of a place!

A recently renovated guest house in Dhigurah and within a few steps of Dhigurah North West Beach, Unwind Dhigurah features a private beach area, comfortable soundproof rooms and free WiFi. We had a wonderful stay at Unwind Dhigurah for 8 nights with my wife. The service by manager Nilanka and the team was exceptional. We felt like at home all the time. We were taken care of, fed and entertained by the team. All our requests were solved immediately and to the maximum. I think this is a perfect stay on the small local island Dhigura. Service and coziness you'll get there is unparalleled. The location is perfect — the hotel is the closest to the bikini beach (10 minutes walking) and to the sand bank (40 min walking). There are many good restaurants around the hotel (Saavaa, Dhiguveli), several super-markets, activities (kayaks, paddle board, etc). We took a day trip snorkeling from the hotel, the crew was great, and we saw 3 Manta Rays (fantastic creatures!). There are travel blogs on YouTube, which we used to select the island and this hotel. I think Dhigurah is considered one of the best options among local island and we can definitely recommend it. It was one of the best vacations for us, we totally refreshed. Set 100 metres from Dhigurah North West Beach, Finolhu Dhigurah offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. First of all, this hotel is in the best location on the island. The hotel itself is very comfortable, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier or more accommodating. The hotel owner took care of everything, made it easy, and gave free lunch and dinner. It was a magical experience. This one has become my favorite of all the islands in the Maldives that I’ve been to. You feel like you’re on your private island without the resort island price tag. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel, the staff, or this island. If you come here, you will never want to leave.

Facing the seafront in Feridhoo, AYIRA Maldives features a garden and a shared lounge. The property has garden views. - the owner and staff were very friendly and helping, explaining all the things, - the room was almost new and very modern, - the dishes were very tasty, my favorite was pumpkin curry, - for sure try their Pirini dessert!

Set in Thoddoo, close to Thoddoo Beach, Thoddoo Haisha inn, Maldives offers accommodation with bike hire, a private beach area, a garden and a terrace. Our host did everything for us to feel comfortable. He organized a few excursions with good price He was very kind and friendly. The room was new and clean, the food was very tasty and tried to heart some local meals. Thoddoo Island was realy beautiful, there were all what we need to rest. The host provided free snorkerling equipment for us and He always tried to help us with each problem. Definetly, I can recommend the Thoddoo Haisha Inn for the holiday.

Situated in Thoddoo in the Ari Atoll region and Thoddoo Beach reachable within 800 metres, Fairytale Inn features accommodation with free WiFi, barbecue facilities, a private beach area and free... Best hotel we stayed at in the Maldives! The hosts were super attentive, breakfast was great: every day something different and very well thought! The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a great space inside and outside with the garden view to wait for the rain to stop. We will come back again!

Situated 100 metres from Dhigurah North West Beach, Tides Dhigurah offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. The location of the facility was really close to the bikini beach, the staff were really kind to us. They preperare really delicous traditional maldivian breakdast. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to everyone

Situated in Omadhoo, Green Leaf Guest House - Omadhoo offers 3-star accommodation with a garden. From the unexpected pick-up and greeting when our ferry arrived until our departure on a speedboat, Naif did everything he could to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Our bags were taken to the hotel while Naif walked us over and gave us welcome coconuts and then a little tour of the island. He arranged to have an umbrella and two lounge chairs just for us on the beach. We left at 6:55am, before breakfast, but he packed to go boxes for us. So thoughtful! Naif checked in with us a few times to make sure everything was going well. Everybody on the staff was helpful,, welcoming and friendly. The unlimited drinking water and loaner fins for snorkeling were other nice touches. The room was large, very clean and comfortable mattress. The large circular loungers outside the room were great when you weren't at the beach. The excellent breakfast varied slightly each day but had eggs, toast, fruit, coffee and roti. I would highly recommend staying at Green Leaf Guesthouse!
