Located 2.1 km from Xlendi Beach, Gmiel in-Natura B&B offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. With garden views, this accommodation features a balcony. Everything was wonderful. Even when my flight was delayed 5 hours and I arrived at 7.30pm, the host was communicative and helpful. The room had everything I needed and the balcony was the best part, besides the fridge full of Maltese delicacies. My lactose intolerance was even accommodated by the host, who brought oat milk on the second day.

The property has quiet street views.... Super stay for my birthday & what a wonderful surprise to return after the day to find birthday balloons & confetti in the room!...I will definitely remember for much more than that. Super friendly attentive staff, beautifully decorated & clean, delicious breakfasts & great location - see you again!

Giancarlo is a wonderful host and makes any stay at La Fenice a memorable experience. From the moment you arrive he is so generous with his time, explaining all the best places to visit, walking routes and where to eat. The accomodation is on the bus route from the ferry and the main bus station is just five minutes walk away, as is the centre of Victoria and a large supermarket. The views from the terrace are excellent. It's a shared accomodation and much thought has gone into individual fridge, plates and cutlery for each room. (There are two guest rooms). The accomodation is a typical Gozitan house and therefore rustic, with local character. Giancarlo has two lovely little dogs that are a joy, they are so friendly and just love company. (Giancarlo will keep the dogs out of sight if guests prefer) but personally we found them adorable. In summary, Giancarlo is the star of this accomodation, he was excellent. Very convenient for transport and exploring Gozo.
