Biking and photographing in Nyaung Shwe is very relaxing and enjoyable and the area is beautiful. (Bikes are free) Inle Lake is also close by if you want to experience that area. Nyaung Shwe is 2,900+ feet above sea level so it is also cooler than Yangon and other parts of Myanmar. At Trinity Family Inn, I was treated like family. Ma Htwe, Aung, and May Naw Soe took very good care of me. If I needed something, they were on it. Their rooms are spacious and very clean. There was always plenty of drinking water and the air con and wifi worked well. On the premises, there are plenty of flowers and plants so it is a little oasis. You are very close to the market and there are restaurants nearby but I ate dinner a number of times at Trinity Family Inn. Ma Htwe is a very good cook and make sure you try her egg curry. Breakfast was local food or western food plus there was always plenty of fresh fruit and fruit juice. I often talked with Ma Htwe and learned more about the area and Myanmar in general. Very friendly people! For the price of the room, it is a great value!
