Muhamed was an extraordinary host. He literally went the extra mile(s) as he took us on several hikes around the village and the beautiful landscape in the area. Sure, it's a bit on the primitive side for some, but at the ridiculously low price it is an absolute "must" for any adventurous spirit who want to experience Morocco "of the beaten track". As a family traveling with two teens we haven't found any other place in Morocco that compares with this. It was as educational and interesting as it was beautiful.

Anne & Ali's hospitality was some of the best I've received in Morocco. The meals are fresh with lots of variety and local ingredients. Anne prepared a picnic lunch for me every day to take with me on my bicycle- which was great since it is Ramadan and food isn't easy to find during the day. The room was private, comfortable and spacious. I appreciated having a heater to warm the room before I went to sleep. Bathroom and shower are great. Washer was available to clean my clothes. The property is peaceful and well situated to explore Ait Bouguemez Valley. I recommend staying here!

It's hard to put into words just how amazing it was -the hosts were very welcoming and eager to share their knowledge of life in the High Atlas -delicious moroccan food -one of the highlights of my stay was gathering around the campfire, drinking mint tea with the hosts and singing traditional Moroccan songs It was such a unique and memorable experience that I will never forget. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable adventure in Morocco. I can't wait to return and experience it all over again.

Very well located at the very end of the valley Good start point to go to lac Izoughar and many other destinations as Taghia, Azurki. A very nice walk is simply to explore the valley from the house, and to make a loop towards the circus, through "gardens ", along fields, seguias and through 2-3 villages. Located in Ouzoud, Maison d´hôtes Amazir features a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. The location was great with lovely views from the terrace. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful on a sunny morning. Considering the hilly position of the village it was convenient, although a lot of steps, to get to the waterfalls. We had good directions to the falls from the staff
