Beautiful room and amazing staff, very friendly and helpful (helped us organizing activities, exchanging money, arranging a taxi to Yala…). The location was extremely convenient, very close to the beach and to the delicious restaurants in the area. A 2 min walk to the main road to find a Tuk Tuk to anywhere. We had a great time, great value for money!

Delicious homemade food (some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka) for a great price, hospitable and welcoming staff, and our snorkel trip with Rangan was out of this world. Great location a short walk from the beach. The accommodation is exactly as described and pictured.

Situated close to the shores, Bella Nilaveli Beach offers peaceful and comfy accommodation with free WiFi access throughout the property. Amazing hospitality, the host went out of his way to help us. Food was incredible and the pool area is lovely, very close to the beach and beautiful gardens, lovely cats and pet dog that went for walks with us on the beach.

Villa Nilaveli Cabana has 3 cabanas (Villa Nilaveli Cabana Cabanas) which are available for rent. Each Cabana has a king-size bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, mosquito net and an en suite bathroom.... Great location, right on the beach. Easy walk up the beach to a salty dogs cafe and beach lovers restaurant and bar. Rooms were simple, though were fine for the stay. We ordered pizza delivery from Kitchen Nero one day, and they delivered to our cabana. Was good to mix things up and not walk up the beach for lunch, as we were very content just lazing on the sun loungers. Breakfast is simple and plentiful. 500m walk to the main road for snacks and bottled water. Amal was great in offering to take us further if needed, in his car.

Featuring city views, Javi Holiday Home provides accommodation with balcony, around 500 metres from Dutch Bay Beach. Good location. Close to public transport, grocery stores and takeaway restaurants. The A/C was super cool.

Laxsume Guest House Nilaveli is set in Nilaveli, 600 metres from Nilaveli Beach, 3.8 km from Pigeon Island National Park, and 8.4 km from Velgam Vehera. I liked everything about this place. I stayed in two places in town. This was slightly more expensive but worth every penny. Nicest and biggest room I have stayed in in Sri Lanka. Bathroom was bigger than the one I have at home. Good a/c for only a small extra cost. Strong wi-if. Clean and great location by the beach. They got the room cleaned so I could check in early. But the best thing about this place is the owner who is super friendly and helpful. I asked him if there was a barber nearby and he called them up to check they were open, drove me there, waited, drove me back and refused payment. As ever, it is these things that make the difference. Also knowledgeable about onward travel. Wish I could have stayed longer and great value for money. They also organised a tuk tuk back to Trinco at way less than the cost of Pick Me. Thanks.
