The house is lovely and the room and bathroom were very clean. The roads are twisty and a little hard to navigate, but we were only a five-minute walk from one beautiful hike and a thirty-minute drive from one of the entrances to the Shouf Preserve. When we arrived, the hosts gave us tea and cake on the balcony. We would have eaten all our meals out there if we could have, but it was a little chilly! They made us dinner and breakfast, both fantastic, with food from their own garden. They were very patient with me when I tried to speak Arabic. They were kind and attentive, and generous-- they gave us fresh fruit and homemade jam for the road! I'd definitely recommend this guesthouse.

Delicious breakfast was served on the terrace..while listening to the relaxing sound of the waves hitting the shore. The restaurant downstairs "Aal Shat" serves the best food. We couldn't resist eating there everyday during our stay. Thank you Najib for your great hospitality at Beit el Bahr...it felt like home. We will definately come back!
