Boasting mountain views, Sipanya Guesthouse features accommodation with terrace, around 11 km from Plain of Jars: Site 1. The guesthouse is located in a beautiful and quiet area, slightly off center. Plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from if you walk for 10-15 min. The owner, Mr. Abay personally picked me up from the airport. He also took me (and a couple other guests) on a guided tour of the Plain of Jars (which I'd highly recommend). He also gave me plates, spoons and forks for food I had picked up at the local market. Mr. Khay at the front desk is eagerto help, should you need anything. My room and bathroom was clean and spacious. Wifi was surprisingly good. The staff was sweet and always greet you with a smile. Wish I could have stayed longer.

The Hillside Residence is located in Xieng Khouang Province in Northern Laos. Just one km away from the city centre, it offers free parking and peaceful countryside accommodation. What an enchanting and charming place! The hillside residence is just lovely. The family that run it are absolutely delightful and couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful. The shower is the BEST!!! The balcony where we had breakfast each day is also a lovely spot to watch the sun go down. There is an excellent restaurant just next door and it’s only a short walk to town. Perfect
