Boasting a bar, Lily's Riverhouse is located in Koh Rong Island in the Preah Sihanouk Province region, 2.4 km from Lonely Beach and 2.9 km from Palm Beach. The staff at Lily’s are amazing and extremely friendly. The location is so beautiful amongst the jungle and river, if you’re not a fan of being amongst nature then this might not be for you but if you want a true island jungle experience then I could not recommend this place enough 10/10

Firefly Guesthouse is situated in Koh Rong Island. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and full-day security, along with free WiFi throughout the property. At first, I hesitated to come to Firefly Guesthouse because it takes a while to get there but it was totally worth it! It’s way less touristic and much quieter than in the south of Koh Rong but there are still fun things to do (like kayaking for 7.50$ for the whole day, I did this and discovered many completely empty and beautiful beaches to take a rest at). The whole family (including cat Ming Ming) were incredibly nice and their food was amazing! There’s free WiFi now and it works well.

Featuring pool views, Crusoe Koh Takiev Island offers accommodation with a garden, a bar and barbecue facilities, around 300 metres from Long Beach. A really nice hidden Gem! Very relaxed and perfect place to let your soul rest. Shoutout to Matti for making me feel welcome from the very first second. The tents are not hot at all because they have a wooden roof so the sunlight doesn't go through.

A recently renovated guest house situated in Koh Rong Island, Giggles Guesthouse features a terrace. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Beautiful location and a great place to stay. Comfy beds and waking up to the sound of the waves gently crashing on the beach below was a real highlight of my trip. Really nice quiet place but has shop next door and some nice places to eat nearby. Giggles the host is lovely too, made me feel very welcome during my stay. Highly recommended!

Friend of Nature Homestay & Bungalow is a recently renovated guest house in Koh Rong Island, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. Really enjoyed our time here. Such a relaxing and beautiful place where you can really immerse yourself into a more local and nature experience. Johney also an amazing host, super helpful, offers scooters for rent, free snorkelling gear and kayaks. The hut itself was really nice, huge bed and it would cool down enough in the night with the fan to make comfortable sleeping experience. Only comment I would make is expect no luxury for toilet and shower facilities, its all part of the experience, and we found it very enjoyable but might not be everyones cup of tea.

Situated in Kaôh Rŭng (4), Blondies Koh Rong Bungalow features accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. We had very nice stay at Blondies. Bungalow was very clean and have good facilities. John is very nice man and he is also very helpful and give you lots of good advice. There is no WiFi which is good escape from Internet and social media but if you need to be connected buy Cellcard it working well. Beach is walkable.

Located 200 metres from M’Pai Bay Beach, Sam's Guesthouse M'Pai Bay offers accommodation with a terrace, as well as a garden and a bar. We absolutely loved our time on koh rong sanloem and at Sam’s guesthouse. She was absolutely amazing and helped us with anything we needed. She gave us loads of information about the island, recommended places which were good to eat and any events that were happening and she was always up for a chat. We wanted to stay an extra night as we loved it and she happily accommodated us at a discounted price which was fab! The room was lovely, and perfect for what we needed for a few nights. The rooms do get quite hot obviously but there is a fan. It’s in such a good location too, a couple minute walk to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants around. If you’re thinking of staying on koh rong sanloem I would highly recommend here! The island does experience some power cuts but they didn’t last long at all and weren’t an inconvenience for us, but it’s not any of the hotel/guesthouses fault so don’t blame them for it.
