Boasting a garden, bar and views of garden, Retro Kampot Guesthouse is situated in Kampot, 7.1 km from Kampot Pagoda. We had an exceptional stay at the Retro Hotel. The hotel has a really chill vibe, I had to work my 8 hour job remotely and I can say it is the best place I have worked from in SE Asia so far. The ladies were always refilling my glass of water and bringing me a bowl of fruit (free) like 3-4 times a day. The internet was very good and was able to handle my meetings. We booked the budget room. It is a bit small, but we were downstairs all day, where there are plenty of places to sit and relax. The room has no AC but you do have a mosquito net and fan so we slept like babies at night and the bed is big and comfortable. As a guest you have free kayaks and motorbike rental is $6 per day. The most important thing to mention is the food. So delicious and huge portions, prices around 4-6$ but really worth it. I recommend the chicken curry and padthai.

The family that owns it are warm and welcoming, and well organized. Very easy to communicate. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Three meals a day are possible here, so being a little away from the city center is no problem. It is an easy tuk-tuk or motorbike ride into town, and Hidden Oasis has a motorbike available for rent.

Very nice place to stay. Very quite and close to the city center. The owners were very nice. The bungalow is quite big with a nice patio and hammock. I would stay here again!

This has been my 3rd time to come back so really everything I liked.everything except another guest. Roads blocked on New Year's eve for the fantastic fireworks but the hostel drove as close as possible to pick me up.

And there is a big bottle of water in the room, which is really important when it’s hot outside. Lou and Leo are very hospitable, nice and friendly! We enjoyed our staying at this guesthouse! We loved our stay at S&D Guesthouse so we extended for another night! Sopheap was so kind and welcoming, helped us with recommendations on what to do in Kampot.the free shuttle from the bus station was a lovely touch. We wanted bikes for $3 to cycle around!
