It is pretty far from the beach but in our case we travelled by car and we wanted to hike more then going to the beach so this was not a problem. The price is very good.

Incredibly friendly and helpful hosts, they even brought us a heater for the room and arranged transport for us the morning we left for a fair price. Great breakfast and dinner, all in all a very pleasant stay :)

Very good location. 4 min walk to the beach, 5 min drive to thermal hot springs. The host was lovely. Recommended good places to eat & the hot springs as well which was a lot of fun. The host also made delicious pizza and eggs for breakfast. Very good rooms. Overall had a wonderful experience during our stay here.

Incredible host, Bektour helped us with the transfer, and was very adequate and positive. Good WiFi! It's rare for Cholpon Ata, we had about 25-30 Mbps stable internet connection. Good home, with warm apartments (because of two powerful heaters in the room), so it was okay in December. New and high quality bathroom equipment. The host knows the city well, you can ask him about everything!

Tian-Shan Guest House is a recently renovated guest house in Balykchy, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. We were pleasantly surprised how clean, modern and comfy was this place. Nice renovated rooms, strong wifi and secured parking for our car in the garden. Driveway to the guesthouse is quite bumpy and google might give you bad directions, but we were very well informed from english speaking owner Irina which road we should use, so there were not a problem to get there. You will be welcomed by kind security guy who will help you with a check-in 👍
