The hotel arranged for transportation from the airport, which was a delightful short boat ride and felt very VIP. Staff was very professional, helpful and above all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel grounds feel like a little quiet oasis, so if you don't feel like doing much you can just spend the morning at the pool.

Facing the seafront on Manda Island, Mangrove House features a private beach area. Among the various facilities are barbecue facilities and a garden. Excellent location, excellent hosts (Masha and Harrison), extremely scrumptuous food. You feel at home. Extreme tranquility on Manda Island, away from the hustle and bustle. Hard to beat.

Featuring a garden, Jamala Guesthouse is situated in Lamu in the Coast region, 43 metres from Lamu fort. Popular points of interest around the property include Old Jetty (Lamu) and Water well. Excellent location in the heart of Lamu, very tasty breakfast. The staff was very friedly. We liked the the architecture of the building and room.
