It’s located so beautiful neighbourhood in the middle of mountain. Kota couple and his 4 year-old son are the best team of this wonderful guest house! We had in trouble on the way to the house because of heavy snow, but Kota was very kindly helped and saved us! I have willing to visit this warm and cozy guest house again soon.

She made us breakfast upon request (need to order 3 days before the stay). Food is delicious, especially the firm Gokayama tofu and original dip she made! The location is perfect if you are coming from Shirakawago like us. It is in Gokayama which is also a heritage site. They have gassho houses that are equally beautiful and not as crowded as Shirakawago. We felt at home at Guest House Yamashita-ya. Hope we get a chance to stay again!

Minshuku Yomoshirou is located in Nanto, 43 km from Kenrokuen Garden, 25 km from Shirakawago, as well as 45 km from Myoryuji - Ninja Temple. The farm house experience was simply great! The hosts (husband and wife) were the most friendly and welcoming ever and they made everyone feel comfortable. The bed (futon) was comfortable and everything was very clean. The food was delicious and felt fresh (I mean, I saw the husband grilling our fresh fish, so I know it's fresh). Absolutely recommended!

A clean, spacious two-storied house and comfy stay. The tablewares were gorgeous that was my dream tableware and cabinets. All necessities are in place. The foot massager and private parking lot just outside the house were bonuses. The kitchen was well equipped, just missing a chopping knife. The host was nice and helpful. The laundry machine and other home facilities worked perfectly. The place is so clean. Everything feels like cleaned right before we arrived. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. We had three sweet comfy nights.
