Yoko-san the host was extremely friendly and went above and beyond in ways such as recommending locations to visit, to eat and to relax in the city, as well as driving us to the local onsen. Featuring 1-star accommodation, Irifune is situated in Tonosho, 1.1 km from Saiko-ji Temple and 1.1 km from MeiPAM Art Museum. Tori is a wonderful host. He picked us up from the ferry and returned us to the port on our departure. Irifune is a lovely quaint destination, right on the water's edge. Our room was a rustic Japanese style with tatami mats and futons. We had beautiful views of Angel Road. As well as a private bathroom there is the added bonus of separate male and female onsen style indoor bathing areas. These were a great way to relax after a day's adventuring.
