Attractively set in the centre of Osaka, Guest House mii features air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. Home like atmosphere. bonus points for David's hospitality who prepared me some nutritious grechka for breakfast. I gave him two mandarinas in exchange. Yum

Featuring sea views and a terrace, GUEST HOUSE APPLE is situated in the Osaka Bay district of Osaka, 1.3 km from Tempozan Ferris Wheel and 2.6 km from Isoji Central Park. The apartment was an amazing value overall. Situated in a quiet located that was actually safe during all hours, it was close enough to the aquarium and USJ plus a short distance to some great restaurants and all major convenience stores. The boat service offered to USJ was a great added perk and added to the experience, the boat operator was kind and helpful, and the views you on the boat ride during the day and especially during the night were amazing. The apartment itself was a great mix of traditional with modern and felt really cozy, with all the bathroom and kitchen amenities you could need for your stay. HIGHLY recommended if you are coming to Osaka to see the Kaiyukan or Universal Studios.

Located in Mimiharachō, within 1.2 km of Sakai Plaza of Rikyu and Akiko and 1.6 km of Plat Plat, MIROKU Share House features free WiFi throughout the property. Great stay. Close to Minato station (2-4minutes walk), and 30 minutes from downtown/ Nambai station. The family mart next to the station can forward your luggage with Yamato. The host Kei-san was very accommodating with my check in time, which changed drastically as I missed the last train to Osaka. The space itself was so cozy, well kept, and clean. So many decorations to look at. The price is unbeatable and the beds are firm but honestly that’s how I prefer it. I chose the balcony space, and it was nice to stand outside and watch the train roll by and to dry your laundry. There is a washing machine with detergent available, and a coin laundry nearby. Bathroom is shared but shower and toilet are separate so there was never really much of a wait time. Internet was good. Location was good. Restaurants were close by. Really no downside if you’re looking for a quiet place that’s affordable and friendly. People come and go but mostly keep to themselves and are very polite. I stayed for 5 nights and felt very sad to go. Will recommend this is everybody who wants to stay in a quiet neighborhood while near Osaka :)

Offering a shared lounge and quiet street view, Auberge du Tanuki Noir Maison d'Hôtes is situated in Osaka, less than 1 km from Isoji Central Park and 2.7 km from Aeon Mall Osaka Dome City. The owner was very friendly and helpful, always available for recommendations or if you needed anything. The place was properly clean and comfortable and the French breakfast was very tasty! In terms of location, it was not in the city center but easily reachable with transportation.
