Our stay was very pleasant. The hosts were very nice and helpful. We came to this part of japan to watch the Sakura (cherry blossom) and the hosts shared their favorite spots with us. When we arrived very late on the first day and all the restaurants had already closed, the hosts even prepared a nice welcoming dinner for us. Another time we had a medical issue and they helped us find and contact a doctor (5 min away from the accomodation). The guest house was clean and in traditional japanese style. There was a little well equipped kitchen and some free coffee and tea for everyday. We would definetely go there again on our next trip to japan.

Taikoji Shukubo Hostel is situated in Ise, 8 km from Ise Grand Shrine. Free private parking is available on site. All rooms are air conditioned and bathroom facilities are shared. The hostel is located inside Taikoji Temple, near Meoto Iwa and near the bus stops going to Toba and Ise Jingu. The temple is an evacuation site, there are signs instructing how to get there, thus very easy to find the way. The price is very cheap, the rooms are separated and the bathroom, toilet and dining room are shared.
