The place is amazing in a beautiful Japanese style building on a mountain slope. We arrived with a rented car but I think it's maybe 20-30 minutes to the nearest train station by walk. I heard the train ride there is incredible as well in sakura time but didn't have time to try it. The host family lives nextdoor, but you have a big house and yard all for yourself with all the privacy. There is a cozy fireplace, kitchen with all the amenities, TV and also an outdoor bath tube which was one of the best things. Also the host can rent you a tuktuk which was a special and unforgettable experience to drive in the countryside. We were lucky to visit by the best sakura time and the weather was also good. I also recommend trying the mochi making experience with the host family. You can also have a kotatsu outside for the evening. I'm pretty sure if you decide to stay here you won't be disappointed.

You will be warm and comfortable in your room (probably cool in the summer too, there is an aircon/heater). And it's a really interesting house aesthetically, so if that's your thing you'll probably love it!

Big house on a the edge of an unused rice field. I saw baby ducks and heard all kinds of birds. The river was very close, I liked biking along the river to get to the ocean, about 5 min by bike. The owner is super nice.

A 2018 márciusában megnyílt HOSTEL Co-EDO 10 perces sétára fekszik a JR Sawara állomástól. Ingyenes wifi biztosított. A vendégek az Ono-folyó mentén sétálhatnak, mindössze 2 perces sétára a... I stayed in a quadruple room. Bed was comfy with a nice soft duvet and pillow. It’s a clean and new hostel with a friendly host. Fantastic shower. Well equipped kitchen and it was easy to prepare my own breakfast.
