The bathroom was very fresh and clean, and the common outdoor area was cozy and inviting.

I loved that the guest house is located in Um Sayhoun, city where beduins live so you could really experience the culture and way of life.

It's the room at the front of the hosts house, has a lock on the door don't worry, but this makes check in super easy late at night, e.g. after catching Petra by Night. Then you head down to Petra like 15min away the next morning and see it all. You will need your own car to get here, provided you have that anyway, it's the best value in town.

Petra Guest House Hotel is situated at the entrance of ancient Petra. It offers air-conditioned rooms that overlook Wadi Musa’s mountains. All of the rooms have traditional furnishings. Breakfast and Dinner were excellent and good value. 20 JD per person. As a group, the location was superb as people could come and go intro petra independently and we didn't need to stay as a one group all the time.
