Caterina was great host and preparing us nice family breakfast every morning and giving good vacation tips. Rooms are new and very clean, cleaning and towels are being changed every day. Maria was the reason we loved our stay so much. We only spoke English - our Italian-speaking friend fell ill the week before the trip - and Maria was so patient and kind in communicating with us and answering all our questions. It's a great little inn and Maria does everything from greeting, to preparing the breakfast buffet and making the delicious coffee drinks to arranging transport and cleaning the rooms. She was amazing! For future English-speaking travelers: you can walk to a beach about 10 minutes up the road if you turn left out the front door and follow the signs to Sponge Beach. Then walk a bit up the road further to a beach with a bit more infrastructure. Both small beaches but IMO much cosier than the larger beaches that are a 30 min walk away. They also have a clear view--far less industrial. The inn is located on a small harbor with close access to the main strip in town. It is a walk to the beach, but that is the case for all of the inns that we saw during the trip. The most famous beach--rabbit beach, requires a car or other vehicle, then a walk from the road. Maria can help with transport and there are a lot of folks and businesses in town too.
