The beds are remarkably comfortably, and I slept better in them than in my own bed at home. Ahmed's side work in antiquities additionally makes for remarkable decorations and books that can easily steal your attention on a slow night or morning. Ahmed and Lucky's wives run the kitchen and create delicious, fresh dishes which ensured that I had little desire to eat anywhere else! It was so fresh, we'd often put in our dinner orders in mid-afternoon so the ingredients could be picked up from the market the same day. Service was on par with some of the best hotels - with seamless communication to arrange transportation, track travel details, and ensure all was the best it could be. Throughout my stay, Ahmed and Lucky were constantly finding ways to improve my experience and regularly checked that I had everything I needed (even checking on me after I had departed for further locations in my trip). The crowning jewel of the experience was the conversations. Ahmed has created an environment that attracts an excellent variety of travelers and dedicates his evenings to bringing them together and building spontaneous community. Ahmed and Lucky are engaging and candid on their own as well - providing a unique opportunity to learn about the lives and views of Bikaners. Lastly, I must give a special shout out to Lucky's side work as TukTuk driver and guide during the day. He is excellent at both, and provides the rare add-on service of a candid crash course in Indian street knowledge and market practices (if you ask).

Shree Krishna Bhakti Ashram is a recently renovated guest house in Vrindāvan, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. This property is off the main road so even as a single woman walking back at night from the temple I always feel safe. There is also someone there to chase any monkeys away. Tej Prakash is very helpful. If there is anything needed, they are immediately accommodating. I feel comfortable even with doors open. I don’t feel like anyone is stealing or cheating. Such good people!

Boasting mountain views, Khamma Heritage features accommodation with balcony, around 2 km from Mehrangarh Fort. Location was very good; staff were very nice & polite. Its like homely stay, we enjoyed lots. Will recommends others to stay in this hotel.

Boasting mountain views, Yoga House offers accommodation with terrace, around 6.8 km from HPCA Stadium. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Dear Lori and Dear Ram Thank you very much for this very nice stay ! The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. A great balcony with fantastic views. The sun warms the room and makes it bright all day. We spent a lot of time just chilling there. Ram yoga house is in a calm neighborhood. The temple is near of the hotel, approximately 5min walking down. The food was also really good. We enjoyed the yoga classes with the very nice energy and experience of Lori. We felt at home at Ram Yoga House, all the staff as well as the owners are lovely and kind.

Situated in Jaipur, 1.7 km from City Palace and 500 metres from the centre, Doongri House features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a shared lounge. Such a great stay, very clean and everyone was super helpful and relaxed. Very fun to be in the busy pink city but so calm and like an oasis at Doongri house amongst the chaos. Highly recommend

Set in Srinagar and only 11 km from Shankaracharya Mandir, John's Homestay offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. It was a great experience there in homestay, the host was very helpful, also the host can be provided with a rented bike and scooty so you do not have to search for it either(in case you do not have a private vehicle), looking forward to come again here, if you planning for Srinagar trip, you should definitely check it out, 💯 worth it
