Set in Shillong, Windermere Inn offers 2-star accommodation with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. The inn offers both free WiFi and free private parking. The menu with selection produced a limited choice but acceptable. The serving was excellent with all smiling faces, courteous and prompt. The management was prompt to furnish our lodging, all staff are cooperative with prompt service.

Since inception and opening in 2013, Dew Drop In has welcomed patrons from all corners of the country and some from abroad. Countless number of guests have left with more than just an experience. Cosy and personal! We were treated so well by the staff, particularly by Gene. Great breakfast everyday as well. We asked about options for how to get around the area, and they provided us with a contact for a cab, which we used for 2 days (shout out to Babul, for being a lovely tour guide!). Easy enough to take a shared cab into PB. Lovely, comfy rooms and once again, thanks Gene for the fabulous service.

The Ark Guest House - Shillong features rooms in Shillong. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. At the guest house, each unit includes a wardrobe. A comfortable stay away from the honking horns of Police Bazar(4-5 km away). We took a scooter on rent hence movement for us was very easy. Pleasant staff helped us around with everything we needed. Geyser installed in the rooms having a very cute balcony with enough plantations around. I found the price justified. We even upgraded to a better room with Tv and bigger balconies and it costed us a little bit more. Over all a pleasant stay.

The rooms, staff, and the lady manager - everyone was so nice. From the room itself, you can see the city and mountains. In fact, if you are lucky (as we were), you can get a hill-facing bedroom and balcony. The food prepared in the hotel by the boys was awesome. We booked three rooms, all of which were pretty clean. We stay in California, USA, and I can say that it's up to that standard. The manager was very caring toward the guests, and she was fluent in both English and Hindi. They provided parking and accommodation for the driver as well, for free. At that low price, it was beyond our expectations. We wish all the best for the owner, manager, and the boys. Thank you!!!
