Tara Guest House is located just 1 km from the famous Mahabodhi Temple. Free WiFi access is available. It operates a 24-hour front desk to assist guests at all hours. We had an amazing stay here, the staff was very friendly and the project that they are supporting with over 700 students to change their local community is inspiring. We left inspired by the children who have been given an opportunity due to the amazing work of the staff here. It was very nice to see and speak with the children during our stay. Two big thumbs up. Additionally, the took great care of us to help organize tours, help us send a package with the India Post, and organize other sightseeing during our stay. We will stay there again and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a local authentic experience with people making a true change in their community.

A perfect place with best quality/price to visit Bodh Gaya, at 11 minutes by walk to the Maha Bodhi temple. The room is large, clean and comfortable. The place is quite, contrary to the center. The guest house is pleasant, with many spaces around, either on the terrace or on the roof or in the beautiful garden with few tables to seat, rest or work. I really like this garden with many trees to get fresh, especially on the afternoon when temperature is warm. The view is beautiful onto a riverbed with a clear horizon and marvelous sunrise. Finally, there are school rooms inside the guest house with cut children. The owner will show you with pleasure his NGO.
