The communication with the hosts before our stay was brilliant – They answered all questions we had prior to arrival and sent information as we needed it. They were incredibly friendly. The room we got had a beautiful view of the mountains and it was quiet and tranquil. It had everything we needed for Shabbat. It is the perfect place to stay if you're looking to get away somewhere quiet and peaceful and feel like you are in nature.

Our stay at Khan Alsira was a very nice experience for our family. We booked both the tent and the two-room apartment so that our group members had a choice in case the tent would be less comfortable. However, most of them preferred the tent. We had breakfast in the tent as well on the first day. Second day we had to leave very early to catch our flight but the owner prepared a take away breakfast for us that we could consume during the trip to the airport. The hospitality of the bedouin family was great. We also had dinner with them and tea and the owner told us a lot about their way of life and how they cope with all the constraints of having to take care for a lot of facilities like energy and waste collection themselves. The location is perfect for trips to destinations in the Negev or around the Dead Sea. Negev Camel Ranch is only 30 minutes away and Dead Sea around 45 minutes. We can absolutely recommend this place.
