We adored our stay wit Elizabeth, she is such a kind and welcoming person. Our daughter Eloïse enjoyed the music instruments. That was really a big bonus for her/us! The breakfast is exceptionally good, fresh prepared and a a lot of variety. The surrounding of Monaghan were great. We enjoyed the Giants Park , much to see and do. We would definitely come back.

Property was clean and the decor was lovely. There were toiletries in the bathroom and a stocked kitchen for tea/coffee making and breakfast. Board games to keep the kids happy and Netflix if you want to watch. The property looks small from the front but the rooms are very spacious and we had a great night away from home.

Das Riverbank, Country Pub and Guesthouse liegt 10 Fahrminuten von Carrickmacross entfernt auf dem Land und verfügt über ein Restaurant. Beautiful old style country guesthouse. Lovely clean rooms and shower, large screen internet TV. After a long day visiting local towns, I arrived back around 10:30pm with my elderly parents. We decided on a late drink and the lovely barmaid arranged tea and biscuits ,brown bread and jam for the three of us, despite the restaurant closing earlier. Breakfast was top class the following morning. We'll be back for sure 😊
