It was very spacious, a little self-catering apartment with a separate living and bedroom and tellis (very handy), small kitchenette with fridge, kettle, etc. This was very welcomed indeed and I was pleasantly surprised. The place was spotless and very centrally located to explore the town. It is above a pub but there were really no problems with noise. Again, a pleasant surprise. The pub downstairs is a very nice, quaint place. The owner was a lovely guy. A great stay all round I have to say. We would def. come back. Thank you!

The spacious rooms at Tannery Townhouse have elegant, pastel-coloured design and lots of light. All rooms have a flat-screen TV, a fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities. The room was spacious and lovely, very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Fishing and sailing can be enjoyed within the local area, and there are 5 golf courses within 10 miles of the property. Waterford city centre can be reached in a 20-minute drive. We loved our stay at the Strand Inn. Food was excellent if a tiny bit expensive. All the staff were friendly and efficient, Nora the Receptionist even gave us a lift to the pub (The Butcher's/Power's) on her way home from work. Incidentally there is a great Trad session on in the pub every Tuesday. Would definitely stay at the Strand Inn again .
