The location was fantastic, within walking distance of the town. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The house was charming with a lovely outdoor space. The hosts were friendly and warm. We didn't want to leave and we'll definitely be back.

With a restaurant and a cookery school this family-run Georgian House lies only 50 metres from Medieval Carlingford. Overlooking the mountains, it features rooms with family antiques and free Wi-Fi. The bedroom was gorgeous, the single day bed in the rm was in beautiful sunshine for an hr at 4pm

I stayed one night to attend a wedding nearby. I totally got caught up with the day and didn’t ring until late to check in and they were very understanding. The room was warm, cosy and clean, with fabulous views. And the magic touch, they had the electric blanket warning my bed when I got in to bed with my sore feet from dancing. Will be back.

In Carlingford’s centre, Belvedere House offers award-winning local cuisine at its Baytree Restaurant, and elegant, themed rooms with heated towel rails. So close to everything and we got parked right outside. The bed sheets and mattress where one of the comfiest beds o have ever slept in.
