Pedro (and his family) is a friendly host and try to do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast and diner are included. Simple but good. It´s a bit far from the city but we liked to be between the local people who are so friendly as well. On the terrace you have books about Raja Ampat and even binoculars so you can watch the birds. Ask Pedro to rent a motorbike and explore this island as well before you go to one of the other island for your (probably) dive or snorkel experiences. This island is more than just a transfer stop for one day.

Some of the best corals we saw in Raja Ampat at the Homestay literally 5 metres away. The owner does all the tours so you can go anywhere you want. It doesn’t have signal so make sure you book your next Homestay.

They know really good how to navigate through rough weather! The food the best and the family amazing! We also missed the ferry and they got us to sorong!

The homestay is really nice! It’s by the beach and you have lots of corals just in front. The food is excellent :) The family is very welcoming and nice I highly recommend :)

The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly. The boat tours were fun and well organised. It was also super iydillic with houses on the water and baby sharks and rays swimming beneath you.

We were given guidance and help with transfers and local tours. We took a bird tour to Malagufuk organised by our host at Baronda which was great. Our host helped me organise a meeting with a local conservation agency. Our visit coincided with that from the host’s family and we were invited to join for lunch which was very special and super tasty. The property is a bit out of town but it wasn’t a problem for us as we used Grab taxis and that worked well. Also the local buses are happy to pick you up so easy to get across town if needed.
