The room was very nice, clean, spacious and comfy that my friends and I extended our 1-night booking for 2 more nights because our stay was really enjoyable. They provided breakfast, unlimited coffee and tea, laundry service as well as transportation to go to the beach and the local tourism nearby. The owner is also very accommodating and responsive, there was an earthquake while we were staying and he checked on us immediately after that. Thankfully all of us were fine and the earthquake didn’t affect anything.

Super clean and the shower has good hot water. I didn’t take the breakfast but there was hot water available to make our coffee or tea. Mari the host was super polite and kind, she ensured that everything was going well. Mita the staff was so friendly and cheerful, making me feeling at home as soon as I arrived. I slept really well and too bad I only stayed here one night. If I ever come to Ruteng, I will def stay in this homestay.

FARILA LODGE is set in Ende. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. Farila Lodge is a very nice place. A house with two rooms and a balcony in front. Everything is new and spacious, the bathroom is one of the nicest we had, the shower (hot) with good water pressure. It is not visible from the street as the hill below is very steep, so we were a little confused to only see a sign on the street and no building. But no need to worry. It is there. 😃 We also rented a scooter from them for a day which was quite new and worked fine. Breakfast is brought by a lady who has a small stand selling drinks and snacks right above the house on the street. We had a very tasty nasi goreng with fried egg there. On the first day there was a man to welcome us who spoke a little english and could give us information about laundry, where to eat... When he was gone there was no one speaking english, but the friendly lady from the stand sent us to the Rainbow Cafe just around the corner. They speak english, were able to organise ojeks, transfer to Maumere, do laundry (quite expensive, but clean).

The most extraordinary and beautiful stay we’ve experienced on the island. Hars welcomed us with care and showed us his beautiful garden and unique plants that are growing there. He is a genius gardener that makes everything grow effortlessly on the lava rock (Sumba island is a pure lava rock). Hars made us organic meal with what was grown in the garden. Our view from the palapa was a killer! So as the night sky! Hars made us campfire, played guitar for us and showed us how to use tripod for night photo shooting. It was incredible! Hars and his amazing garden will stay in our memories forever. 🙏🏻❤️ If you want to relax and truly enjoy the nature, you must stay here.

Only stayed for a night but had one of the best sleeps I’ve had in a while. Really comfortable bed. Was tempted to extend just for that 😂 Nice warm shower. Good breakfast in the morning. Close to town. No WiFi but that’s ok :)
