House Tina is situated in the peaceful village of Grabovac, a 10-minute drive from the UNESCO-listed Plitvice Lakes National Park. It features free WiFi and a large garden with a swimming pool. We had bed and breakfast, but we tried one evening the dinner and it was excellent. Tasteful, well prepared, served on rational time. The pool looks fine but in May was not in real use. The staff was very polite, willing to help and improve the service (for example coffee on pool beds afternoon or if you want omelette for breakfast). Location is several km from Plitvice lakes in very relaxing environment, access by car is easy with own parking space, no crowd around.

Rooms Enter Ogulin is a recently renovated guest house in Oštarije, where guests can make the most of its terrace and shared lounge. The property has inner courtyard and quiet street views. The structure is located in a strategic position, at the motorway exit. The welcome was excellent, Carlo is a truly very kind and helpful person. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Recommended, a perfect accommodation for a stopover during the journey to the south of Croatia.

Guest house-Studio apartman Marina - with outdoor jacuzzi and special offer for 2 nights stay or more is a recently renovated apartment in Karlovac, where guests can make the most of its free bikes... A well-equipped, peaceful and quiet apartment, perfect for a break on the road. It's a few minutes' drive from Karlovac, or if you're taking the free route (e.g. avoiding traffic jams) it's right next to it. A safe place for a fully loaded car. You prepare your own breakfast from the stocked fridge. The only thing we missed was black tea ;)

Apartment very clean and tidy, hosts super kind and helpful. Antonija is full of good recommendations. Also, we were lucky enough to try the best apple pie in the world made by her mother in law :)

Located in Drežnik Grad and only 9.1 km from Plitvice Lakes National Park - Entrance 1, House Bela vido provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had an amazing view. The owners are friendly, spoke English and made us feel welcome. The view from the apartment is great and is located just 15 mins away from the Plitvice national park. The parking is free and there’s enough room for multiple cars.

Offering a garden and mountain view, House Štefanac is situated in Seliste Dreznicko, 4.8 km from Plitvice Lakes National Park - Entrance 1 and 7.8 km from Plitvice Lakes National Park - Entrance 2. room and washroom is very clean and new. stunning view from the balcony. host is really nice and gave helpful suggestions

Set in Slunj in the Karlovac county region, Aria Room - Rastoke features a patio and pool views. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The host was phenomenal. The rooms were very clean and the town was peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend. Also the prices for a room were very fair. It was a nice difference from the prices in Split and Dubrovnik.

Located within 11 km of Plitvice Lakes National Park - Entrance 1 and 14 km of Plitvice Lakes National Park - Entrance 2 in Rakovica, Apartmani Zagi provides accommodation with seating area. Comfortable (two pillows per person, we were so grateful) and cozy. Bathrooms were great, and while the kitchen was small it was enough for our needs. Our host was welcoming and very helpful. We really had a great stay.

Such a friendly couple, cozy place, a real stand out experience between all the normal hotels. And they cooked us the best meal we had on the trip.
