Amazing hostel/hotel. Staff and people are very nice and helpful with anything you want to do here. You can walk to the national park and the hostel itself organizes a cave tour which I would recommend both! Take at least to nights here and you’ll find the perfect oasis. I do not really understand other comments mentioning expensive food/drinks. Maybe its because they charge you all at the end and people loose track

Located just 15 km from Blue Hole, Hotel Rabin Itzam offers accommodation in Lanquín with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as private check-in and check-out. Our host was amazing. He literally went the distance for us at every ask, helped organizing transport, Semuc Champey and everything else. They have a restaurant at the hotel, which serves cheap breakfast and really good dinners. Overall the hospitality makes up for the poor quality of the bathrooms and rooms themselves.

It's a really simple little place but the family that stay there are so helpful and welcoming. The room was comfortable and everything was clean. The kitchen also had everything you needed. Although it's not in the center there is a bus stop super close which takes you to most places so it's easy to get around.
