Situated within 60 metres of Vardia Beach and 200 metres of Chochlidia Beach, Maistrali provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Karavostasi. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features sea views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Good location with a great view of the port from the balcony. All the amenities are close, easy to walk from the ferry and close to the bus station. The host picked us up from the port and stored the luggage until the room was ready. In the room there was a bottle of water waiting in the fridge as well as a (much appreciated) small bottle of (I guess local) brandy. :-) There are two nice beaches in the vicinity. Nightlife is not the major "selling point" in the port but there are regular buses to the Chora where the "action" takes place (2 EUR one way). Overall, it was exactly as described and I highly recommend it (location, value for money and a gorgeous view from the balcony). I'd definitely stay again there.
