The propery is only 100 metres from the beach and 16 km from Le Gosier. This is a really beautiful place to be located for a quiet retreat close to Plage de Bois Jolan north of St. Anne. You will need to have a car to be able to get to and from town, but can walk to this beautiful beach that is shaded by a coastal forest. In the morning, many people walk the trail for exercise and there are many places to swim. Each of the individual houses have kitchens and a covered deck. One night I ordered pizza from Tib--located in a van along the side of the road that you turn onto to get to the houses. and it was delicious. St. Anne has a beautiful swimming beach and many restaurants along the seaside that are open for lunch. While they have a busy tourist trade in the high season, the town is able to absorb visitors more than some of the smaller towns I visited. Locals enjoy the beach and restaurants too, which makes for a much nicer travel experience of feeling like you are in a real town. There are some delicious homemade ti-punches at the local grocery stores and the local coffee is very good. There is a coffee machine in the house so it makes mornings very convenient.
