The owner welcomed me when I arrived late in the evening , tired from the west highland way, and was very kind and warm! He was helpful and patient even though it was pretty late. The room was decorated so special, and had everything I needed for a good night sleep. The shower is great. The location is close to the WHW trail and was the best choice. Very close to a pub and a coffee place. I would stay there again.

We had one of the new rooms which is beautifully furnished and has a very big bathroom with both shower and tub. Everything is new and clean and the bed is super comfortable. We would come back.

Absolutely wonderful, clean and so accommodating. The owner was gracious and kind. what a gem of a place. The charming atmosphere and delicious breakfast was such a pleasure. The Claymore is an attractive Victorian residence with its own private drive with free parking and gardens, only 2 minutes walk from Pitlochry town centre. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. This property is well located on the edge of the village of Pitlochry. It is not directly located on the center where all restaurants and stores are, so you can enjoy a quiet environment. However, if you want to go in the village it’s only a two or three minute walk. The place is really beautiful and the breakfast is served in a solarium.
