Less than a mile from John Lennon Airport, this family-run guest house is a 20-minute drive from Liverpool city centre. Gateway Lodge offers free parking and cosy rooms with free Wi-Fi. This is a great place to stay for an early flight out of Liverpool Airport. It's easy to get there on public transport get the 86A from the city centre and get off at Speke Church Road. Saves you walking back from the airport. The walk to the airport itself is about 15 minutes. The room was comfy and quiet. I was going to stay at the Hampton Hilton but glad I found this place instead for a third of the price.

The location was excellent, very close to the Anfield stadium, which was a big bonus for us. Communication with the host was top. She also prepared something to eat and a drink for us, very nice. We would definitely stay again and I'd recommend it to anybody.

The Ambassador Townhouse is set in the centre of Southport, and only 10 minutes' walk from Southport Rail Station. Good family atmosphere, very clean, quiet. Delicious breakfast, good assortment, responsive to any questions and wishes. Tony cooks great, very attentive and friendly. Perfect weekend for me. The hotel exceeded all expectations!

The Norwood Guest House is situated just 10 minutes’ walk from the Grade II listed Southport Pier and Southport beach. We absolutely loved our stay at The Norwood. Valentina and Richard were so welcoming and helpful. The room was so comfortable and spotless. It is a short walk to lots of pubs and restaurants. We had fabulous meals in restaurants recommended by Richard and have lots of tips for our next trip. We would recommend The Norwood to anyone and will certainly be going back.

Located in the heart of Southport, The Leicester offers 4-star, Silver Award accommodation in a traditional Victorian building. Great location and well-maintained. Comfortable room and beds.
