The view from the room was peaceful and amazing, giving straight on the Loch Lomond. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, the arrangement for a Prosecco bottle on arrival was waiting for us as asked. The bed was super comfy as well. The staff was really friendly, they even helped us with some complementary rolls & coffee to take away, as we were leaving really early to hit the road, and couldn't be there during breakfast hours. I will absolutely recommend.

Standing in the shade of a magnificent 500-year-old oak tree, this traditional bar/restaurant is ideal for those wishing to escape from the rush of modern day life. The non-smoking inn is adjacent to the West Highland Way and is ideal for walkers. After a long day spent exploring the region’s magnificent scenery and breathing in the invigorating fresh air, you can satisfy your hard-earned hunger with a delicious meal. Food is served all day and the bar has a cosy, welcoming atmosphere and a real log fire. Wonderful staff, super friendly from the lady at reception the the staff in the restaurant and bar. We stayed in pod 2, which was warm cosy and spotlessly clean with everything we needed. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant, and the food was high quality, delicious.

Some units have a terrace and/or a patio with river views and an outdoor dining area. At the guest house, some units are allergy-free and soundproof.

For guests with children, the guest house features outdoor play equipment. Guests at Forty Winks Loch Lomond can enjoy cycling and hiking nearby, or make the most of the garden. It was a perfect place for a larger family group--rooms with bunkbeds.
