The owners, Mark and Kath, made us very welcome and were highly attentive, especially at breakfast. Coming back from an evening out, we found that the fireplace had been lit, so we settled down in its warm glow. Mark turned up while we were there and gave us permission to have a 'wee dram' from his collection of whiskies. A very pleasant way to end the day. Quite clearly, the owners go out of their way to make their guests feel at home and their efforts pay dividends.

A recently renovated guest house situated in Lochinver, The Albannach features a garden. The property has mountain and lake views. Pure luxury in The Highlands! Staff were fantastic, with lots of information about the local area. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the porridge! Facilities superb, especially the outside jacuzzi! Fantastic local views. All in all a wonderful experience and highly recommended. I would love to come here again in the future.
