It is close enough to the center to enjoy a walk and far enough to have a quiet night. The breakfast is extraordinary and delicious! Kudos also to the staff; everyone was very kind and friendly. I have stayed at many B&B, Brunswick House was up there with the best,Andrew was a very good host and the breakfast just couldn't be beaten top marks.😁

Set in Lanchester, 15 km from Beamish Museum, The Royal Oak offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We also ate there during the evening. The choice on the menu was great as were the meals! The bedroom was a fabulous size and the bathroom looked newly renovated, but get those towel hooks up Ian 😁. The staff were amazing and very helpful as were the hosts. We'd definitely return if we are in the area.

Loved the attention to detail and the little extras provided by our lovely host. Amidst beautiful surroundings too very peaceful
