Having briefly considered a chain hotel near the train station we jumped at the change to stay at the Loughview when I noticed it on booking.com. The properties on this street are beautiful! Communication throughout was fab and it was lovely to meet both Orla and Steve. The room had everything we needed, the bathroom was lovely and the bed really comfy. There was plenty on offer for breakfast with the added bonus of a fantastic view while we ate! Thank you for opening your home to us. At no point did it feel awkward or like we were intruding (even getting in gone midnight). We would highly recommend staying at the Loughview!

We received a little help from the neighbor, who was very kind and willing to help us out. Breirs itself was very clean and inviting. We first met Margaret at check-in and she was lovely! She gave us recommendations about local places to eat and visit. The garden was a nice spot to view in the morning with coffee. The breakfast spread was delicious as well.

Very well run property. Lovely, bubbly host, full of great useful information. Prior to our arrival she kindly booked a reservation to the very popular pub right next door. Comfy bed.

The hosts Sue and Paul were lovely and very helpful with recommending what to do and where to eat and shop around Bangor/ Belfast which made the overall stay and experience both wonderful and enjoyable. The location of the guesthouse is very central to the Marina and main streets/ restaurants and bars in the town, all within walking distance. The guesthouse and rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious providing good value for money. Highly recommended stay at Shelleven Guesthouse!

I'm sure anybody would feel right at home here. I had the single room with a balcony and a picturesque seaside view! I started every morning with an incredible breakfast and because of the ideal location was minutes walking distance to any and everything I could possibly need. I highly recommend the Cairn Bay Lodge to everyone who wants to experience Bangor at its best!
